It began with the Spa Q event. Held upstairs in the lounge and spa area I was greeted with a glass of champagne and a goody bag. After having a look around the clothes from the up and coming designers- Emma Milikins, Love Street and When Freddie met Lilly, we were treated to a tour around the spa area. Everywhere smelt amazing from the lotions they use and I can imagine this being a great place to treat yourself and unwind. Hand treatments were also available, although unfortunately I did not manage to get one with all the other things going on. During the evening, canapes were also on offer so I tucked into a duck roll, spring roll and a bit of sushi, all of which were very nice! Up next were the fashion shows. They were all gorgeous and I was so torn to which was my favourite. First up was Love Street, a vintage inspired range combining looks from the 60s and 70s. The floatiness and colours were amazing and they were so easy to wear, making you look fabulous without any effort. I loved the headpieces and looks from Emma Milikins, these would be so popular at festivals, I could see many celebs rocking this look at Coachella. Last up was When Freddie met Lilly, a real sexy and seductive range of bridal wear. Each piece was different depending on how traditional you wanted to go from classic silk white dresses to a short layered tutu style dress. The event finished with a talk by Fashion Style guru, Elizabeth McMahon. Here the former model spoke about her career and offered style advice based on your skin tone and body shape. It was very informative and I think a lot of women will be more analytical when shopping to ensure the colour or shape suits them. Overall the night was a great success, with everyone looking like they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. However, it did not stop there as straight after, the first big catwalk show of the week was about to start, so off I went again. See more about this in my next post!
Here are some photos of the event, they aren't the best quality, its definitely a lot harder than i realised to take pictures whilst they are moving!
