QT Fashion Week- Day 1 Marlies Dekkers

The main event of the night was the Marlies Dekkers show, held in the Grand Ballroom. Internationally known for her 'innerwear as outerwear style' and worn by A-List celebs such as Victoria Beckham, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry this was sure to be an amazing event. It opened with a daring yet tantalising burlesque style show featuring one lady with a body to die for! It then continued with a gorgeous range of underwear subtly featuring pearls and diamantes to give it that sexy glamorous edge. 

I can see how it can be worn as outerwear rather than just underneath clothes, although there is a fine line which is easy to cross making styling very particular. Being on the raunchy side it is definitely more suited to celebs who can somehow get away with this look a lot easier than us normal folks although i wouldn't object to wearing it with say a high waisted skirt and a top that offers a flash of the amazing designs.
