My favourite pieces were the structured jacket (pictured below) and the going out dresses (near the end of the post). I loved the skater style which fitted perfectly, showing a sexy hourglass figure. An ideal dress to wear to a fancy summer time event!
Once the show finished it was straight on to the wrap party. Initially held in the same room as the show, it later continued at Stingray, a funky bar at the other end of the hotel. We were treated to cocktails by one of the main sponsors of the event, Black. A natural energy drink containing the super berry Acai, they then mixed it with vodka to make it a 'cocktail', very exotic :/. Well until the vodka ran out after half hour when it then just turned back into an energy drink, which by that point everyone had moved on to the main bar to get a real drink. Nevertheless it wasn't bad for an energy drink but i wont be finding myself buying them anytime soon. Overall it was a great night to an even better week. Its a shame i wont be there next year to see the event grow and become even more successful, showing Australia that the Gold Coast has more to offer than beaches and theme parks!
